SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. It is a measure of the level of protection against sunburn that sunscreen provides. The higher the SPF, the better the protection from ultraviolet radiation.
Unlike chemical sunscreens that absorb the suns UV rays, INVISIBLE ZINC uses naturally sourced Zinc Oxide to create a physical barrier on your skin, reflecting both UVA & UVB rays and helping to prevent irritation. Zinc Oxide is a mineral reflector that creates a physical, reflective barrier on the surface of your skin. In sunscreen, zinc oxide acts as a filter for UV radiation.
UVB radiation penetrates the top layer of skin and is the main cause of sunburn. All INVISIBLE ZINC sunscreens have high UVA & UVB protection.
Proudly all INVISIBLE ZINC products are cruelty free and not tested on animals.
Yes INVISIBLE ZINC is made in Australia.
Yes INVISIBLE ZINC Junior is specifically formulated for delicate skins of babies and kids. You can clip it on to your bag and take it with you wherever you go so it is always handy when it comes to reapplying.
Sunscreen should be applied liberally and evenly to exposed skin 20 mins before going outside. Re-apply every two hours, or more frequently if you are sweating, swimming or it has been wiped off. To apply liberally means about a teaspoon per limb, back, torso and face/neck. It is also important to keep a thin film of sunscreen on your skin to maximise its effectiveness, so resist the temptation to rub it all in.
INVISIBLE ZINC Tinted and Everyday sunscreens are light weighted and can be worn under makeup.
